Mr. Terry Brown is a director in Technology Solutions Services responsible for the Portfolio Management Office and the Business Relationship Management function at Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. His teams are responsible for managing client relationships, collaborating with National IT and local providers, capturing IT demand, prioritizing the demand in alignment with the district strategic goals, and working with the providers to deliver the solutions that meet or exceed the business partner’s expectations.
Prior to joining the Bank, he worked in the academia, manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation industries using technology as the foundation to transform organizations into high performing entities utilizing people, processes, and technologies.
A native of Alabama, Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree in technology management from Clayton State University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in technology management from the University of Phoenix. He is a certified Project Management Professional, a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and has earned a certification in information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) management.
He has participated in several mentoring programs both as the mentor and mentee in the corporate and private sectors. A highlight was serving as a mentor in the Fort Gordon Georgia Youth Challenge Academy, an organization that has as its mission to intervene in and reclaim the lives of at-risk youth to produce graduates with the values, skills, education, and self-discipline necessary to excel as adults. He was tasked with developing and successfully implemented a mentoring program for high school football officials to improve their officiating capabilities.
His interests includes golfing, sports officiating, running, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. He is an active member in several ministries at his church including the diaconate, discipline learning, and the audio/visual.
