Mrs. Clarieta Nelson-Jackson graduated with honors from the College of New Rochelle in New York with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts. Before retiring and moving to Georgia, she worked as a civil servant in The City of New York in the foster care system as a case worker and the city’s Human Resources Administration as a case manager for over 23 years.  Mrs. Jackson’s passion was helping at risk children.

She strived to show them love and give them hope. Mrs. Jackson is married to the love of her life Donald Jackson. She is also the mother of two daughters Collette and Kimberly; and the grandmother of two girls and three boys. Mrs. Jackson is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  Mrs. Jackson is a member of Christ Apostolic Church, Bethel Fellowship in Ellenwood, GA. She believes that with God, all things are possible and in all things, to give God thanks.
